10/10/2014 Open Comb October Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, Home made PSO Razor: Gillette New Long Comb OC, CMON Filarmonica Doble Temple straight razor Blade: Astra SP (6) Brush: Turkish #6 Soap: Proraso Red - Sandalwood After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave Cologne: Cuir Cannage A comfortable 2 pass Darn Fine shave. The #6 easily whipped the Proraso Red into a yogurt like consistency. The AV brought the chill and the Cuir Cannage will keep me smelling great all day. Have a blessed day!

Dickerson WH Aftershave: Fine Clean Vetiver I switched the OC plate for the Standard plate today, I had redness on my right cheek, looked like scratches. Ok shave. I was ready to pull the Super-Max blade on the first pass. Not a blade for me. Go out and get it!

Razor: Merkur 34c HD Brush: WD Silvertip 30/45 Mug: Old Spice (late glass Mug 04 1970s - 1992) The last OS Mug Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street - coconut Blade: Feather (2) Pre shave: Tree Hut Shea body wash Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Neutrogena Balm, Pinaud Clubman The Merkur 34c HD does give me some burn if I use to much pressure or go over an area to many times. The Silvertip whipped up a thick lather and I screwed in the Feather, and checked the alignment and was good to go for my first pass WTG. A little rinse to see how we are doing and relather for a XTG pass on my face and ATG on my neck. Some more lather for touch up on my neck and we are done. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some Neutrogena Balm then some Clubman. Nice smooth shave. Have a good one.
I need to find out, its going to take a day or two for it to clear up. its not the tools fault, operator error.

I'm doing a side by side comparison of the Personna med prep and lab blades, which I will write about in a separate post. The TTO razor allowed me to easily swap blades during the shave. Good results.
OCtober 11's Dove Men's Face Wash Cella Crema da Barba Semogue 1305 Boar Brush Gillette NEW SC Shark Super Chrome (5) CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Pinaud Clubman AS The Cella Crema da Barba face-lathered very easily with my Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Gillette NEW SC and Shark Super Chrome blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
