Easy; we don't have nearly as many restrictions as some would have you to believe (if you know the true law). I do believe there is a 15 round mag restriction, currently. This puppy, being a .40, takes 12 rounds (though I'm going to buy the 9mm conversion barrel soon, since I also have some 15 round 9mm mags for it and my current EDC is 9mm.) We have no restrictions on how many you can own, either (luckily... LOL)
The FN is a very nice sidearm...I was reading that since the ammo companies have sunk Monty into developing a top notch 9mm round a few police departments are going away from the .40 since balistically it is now out performing the .40 and being closer to the .357.
No firearm needed. One shot of this, and Mr. Pit Bull becomes Mr. Ima Good Doggy. Aim for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Capsicum is candy in comparison. Effective to about 15 feet. Not recommended to repel human beings except in the most extreme cases. Ingestion usually causes immediate and uncontrolled vomiting. Inhalation in sufficient amounts can cause respiratory arrest and death. Make sure you are pointing the nozzle AWAY from yourself. I've had it in my hair and on my neck, where it left blisters. It will send you scurrying for the nearest water hydrant or swimming pool VERY quickly.
