I've been using what is left in my Proaso sandalwood tube lately to shave and I've loved it i just tried to shave with my shave soap and well it didn't go as good as it usually does so soon I will order another tube or maybe their soap version

What shave soap did you try? The reason I ask is that it took me awhile to figure out how to lather Mitchell's Wool Fat, which, I understand, is a hard soap. I eventually formed the puck into a shave stick, and now it works great for me.

Sounds good! My favorite soaps so far are Mike's and Tabac. I haven't tried Williams yet, but I know it has been around a long time!

Van der Hagen was the first shave soap I ever used, and its still a stellar performer for me. While I can appreciate soaps like MWF, Trumpers, Tabac, ect. Part of what makes a shave soap interesting to me is price. If the soap isn't priced reasonably to me I'm not interested no matter how well it performs. It's been my experience that many reasonably priced soaps such as VHD are great performer's. My daily go to soap as of now is an Arko stick mashed into a bowl.
For probably the cost of one puck of the above soaps I have years worth of Arko..:)

How is the Proraso sandalwood? Is there a place to get samples?

$15 for a soap isn't a bad idea if you love the scent and feel of the post shave. Treat yourself a little when you're going to be brushing this on your face for many many many days.
