After getting the dremel 115 bit, I dug this handle out of the closet and removed the old knot, cleaned it up with Meguiars PlastX and put in a TGN 22mm Grade A Silvertip. Haven't used it yet, waiting 24 hours for the epoxy to set. It will be used tomorrow. Seeing the picture, I guess I should clean some of that white paint off. I have been using FolkArt Multi-Surface paint that I picked up at WallyWorld in a 2oz bottle. ETA: I used this brush this morning and, as expected, it is fantastic. I love the TGN Grade A Silvertip. It's kind of strange feeling the tips after rinsing it out, they have a gel like feel to them. The first time, I thought that I wasn't getting out all of the soap. They are really packed and soft as all get out.
After a test lather in my hand and using it to shave this morning, this is what the bloom looks like. I love these Grade A knots, packed with fibers.
