Copper colored blades

Does anyone make these anymore? I'm talking about the ones like the Gillette Thin in the red/black package.

The reason I ask seems to indicate a bit of OCD on my part ;) I put a "plain" blade into my NEW yesterday which I had cleaned and polished down to the copper, and I noticed the silver/grey color of the blade clashed with the color of the razor.

I realize how dumb that sounds. And I'm not likely to actually go looking for copper colored blades. More curious than anything.

I have gold GEMs. It would be cool if I had gold blades but I must deal with it.

You cleaned and polished your New down to the brass, not copper, and no, no one makes them that color anymore. To my knowledge.

Timelord I get 12 times the shaves out my blades!

All you need to do is to be less careful when you are shaving. A little blood will give that blade a nice, coppery color. :lyrtuy5:

I know of no copper colored blades, how about a nice black blade? The contrast would look nice I think. :happy088:

The only way to put the RAD into remission is to transmit it.

Those Gillette Thin Blades were a gold/brass color. They thought they made them look high class. If you get ones well kept and sealed they make for a nice shave.

Yup, that's one of the ones I had. I have to say they do look kind of classy. Very retro.
