Monday morning - Prep - Noxzema & hot towel Lather - PannaCrema San Francesco & suribachi Brush - Semogue SOC boar reset @ 47mm Razor - Wm. Greaves 7/8 2 pass Warm water rinse & cold water splash Alum block & Witch-hazel AS Another great shave. I'd intended to go with the Proraso eucalyptus for Menthol Mondays, but the PannaCrema was callin' to me this morning - great lather and a nice subtle sandalwood scent to boot. First shave with an old but still new-to-me Sheaf Works as well. Have a better Monday folks.

11/3/2014 Menthol Monday!! Whoo Hoo!! Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Muhle R41 2013, H Boker & Co Master Razor straight razor with worked spine Blade: Wilkinson Sword (3) Brush: Turkish #6 Soap: TSD Lanolin - Iced Sub Zero After: Home made ASB, Osage Rub After Shave: Aqua Lavanda Puig It was a very cool almost BBS shave this morning. The Iced Sub Zero brought some chill with the protection. The R41 and the Boker took care of the stubble with no problems. The Osage Rub really brought the chill for another 20 minutes or more. The Aqua Lavanda Puig has a light clean lavender scent, but it does not last very long. Have a blessed day!
SOTD - Monday, NO-Vember 3, 2014 Third day of my NO-Variation NOVember setup. So far, So good. I may have to box up my razor display for the rest of the month... It is getting harder to look at it while I'm shaving and not choose a different razor for the next shave. Also, today two arrivals are expected: a '41 Ranger Tech AND a puck of MWF. Must... Not... Give.... In. [

Personally, I would have used a styptic pencil, but whatever works for you. Menthol Monday: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Stirling Glacial Obsidian Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Asco SS (3) Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (7, 8, 9) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS splash Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron Once again, I needed to use twice as much product as usual to get a good lather from the frigid Stirling; this means the soap won't last as long as others in my den, which I can't say I'm that sad about. The Asco is showing its age a bit, as there was some irritation under my chin from the blade, though there was no bloodshed. All in all, slightly frustrating but BBS results.

Last Thursdy I had Physical Therapy on my Neck, and Back. My hands seem to feel a little better, today than they have all week. I have not shaved for a few days because of my hands and my Neck hurting and I really could not hold onto the razor. I had a BBS Shave today.(aka Rudy Castiel Clean!) My wife went back to work today after being off on sick leave after having had Total Knee Replacement Surgery in June on her Right Knee.
