Quite the shaver. 3 shaves down very smooth. I like it better than the iSlant and the SC 101. I feel that it is more efficient than the iSlant and not too mild like the SC 101. Medium aggressive is what I would call it but it's still early just 3 shaves so far may use it for the rest of the week and reconsider then but for the price it can't be beat.

What about you? What are your thoughts?

Pretty much as you. For the price I think it's a winner, mild yet efficient. I really like your handle, and thats what makes this head so attractive. Your not stuck with a fixed handle.

Nivea for Men Sensitive Face Wash
    C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream
    Omega Pro 98 boar brush
Gillette Super Speed '47 (first pass)
    Schick Krona (second pass)
    Astra SP
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush.First pass with my '47 Gillette Super Speed and Astra SP blade and second pass with my new Schick Krona (same blade) gave me a close, comfortable shave. I am thinking about making the Krona my December shaver. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Prep:Somerset's Pre-shave Oil
    Razor: 1959 Gillette Fatboy {E2}
Blade: Super-Max Super Platinum Tiger (1st shave)

    Soap: Whoos Victory
Shave (setting): WTG (5), XTG (5), ATG + Cleanup (3)
Post: cold water splash, Family Dollar Shulton Spice

So I had to do a new blade tonight, not because the other was unusable after 3 shaves, and I haven't put it in the rubbish yet, but because I needed a perfect shave. Wearing a dress shirt and wanted to weepers on my collar.

Prep was minimal, splash of hot water and some PSO.

Started with setting of 5 and slowly ratcheted back to 3. Really paid attention to technique and used more of the Gillette slide which really helps quell irritation on my neck.

Halfway thru I switched to cold water shaving which was very pleasant with the warm spiciness of the soap. Cold steel felt good. Gave more feedback for some reason.

Added a teaspoon of glycerin to my Family Dollar Shulton Spice to get more moisturizing and splashed it on, to find I had a BBS shave. Lucky!

    Cheers

    WEDNESDAY
    Even Shave for Tomorrow
My first shave with the GRS Craftsman tonight as I just finished honing it earlier (Chosera 1k>Norton 4k>8k>Apache Strata; ChromOx on strop> linen/Leather); Razor took a super keen edge. The slightly rounded 'square tip' meant I was less likely to repeat the cheek-gouging of the past few sq. tip shaves. A very comfortable razor that felt good in the hand (the jimped tang helped!). A pleasant evening shave for a first time with this razor! :happy088:

    Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

BBS on the cheeks, DFS on the neck. Comfy shave but it could be smoother.
