Soon I'll be adding a #700c 'Certifyd' Premium horsehide (thick!) & linen Red Imp strop to the collection to go along with all the Imp razors.... Odd that they chose the traditional 'devil' silhouette (horns, tail, & fork) to represent an 'imp' (trademark 1930-1971) to quote, 'Brings your razor back to life'
Oh crap I thought you were gonna use a SE blade in it not the dull wedges! Sorry you put yourself through a bad shave... Lol You are a trooper.
LOL I half forgot their dullness. And it was fun to use the razor anyway! I haven't used it yet with a single edge blade, so that will be a first!
I thought Silver Blue was my fave, but NOVember has shown me that Voskhod is a durable smooth winner. I hear some guys advocate the Rapira line. Thoughts? Also Sputnik anyone?
NO problem. Maybe you have a better line up now. Once you get one, you can go a long time. However, it's America, and it's your shave. Change it up if you don't like it. I got 23 days to go (unless I drop out).
well how was it? deep enough, too deep? I'm not happy, clanking my brushes on the side of deep mugs. thats why I like the old spice mugs to hold soap, and my stainless bowls to make lather. It's a little more to police up, but less clanking.

SOTD Nov 6th: Prep: went for a run, shower, Cromwell & Cruthers oil Brush: Omega 10066 boar Blade: Dovo best quality 5/8 Soap: the Fat with a couple drops of Rosemary peppermint EO Post shave: Osage and some Vaseline I'm thinking of committing myself to the Fat for the next month so that I can really dial this soap in; this shave was alright but the lather wasn't great. I'll allow myself to add in EO's for variety. Is there any type of month dedicated to MWF? Maybe "MWF-March/May"?
It was ok. I had no issues, for a dollar I can't complain. I didn't have any clanking, the larger brushes might be more suited for this mug, heck I just might use it for my soup bowl for lunch today.
