Thanks for being so welcoming guys! I've been a member of a few other forums, and never received this good of a welcoming, although they weren't for shaving

Hello and welcome to The Shave Den! You are off to a great start, and you have a fine kit as well. There are some friendly and knowledgeable folks here.

I used my dad's DE and Trac II razors when I started shaving. I never learned how to shave properly, so I finally switched to an electric razor so my face could heal! 30 years later, I have returned to traditional shaving and discovered how good it can be. It is nice to see that you are getting a proper start.

You live in a beautiful part of the country. I get most of my shaving supplies on-line as well, and I live near a fairly large city. However, I can get Clubman aftershave at the local drug store. I purchased my first (and last, according to my Bride) bottle there.

 

Wise woman ya got there.

This is a great forum with a lot of knowledgable and friendly folks willing to assist you. You are a wise man starting with proper shaving equipment at your age. As others have mentioned, online is what most of us use for supplies, nothing wrong with it at all. Enjoy the journey and most of all have some fun with it.
