    Almost a week's growth...

°Fatip Piccolo on the NEW bar handle
    °Big Ben
    °TSD vetiver soap

2 pass BBS with a few minor nicks. It's a good razor but no matter how easily I go with the Fatip, I still end up feeling "scraped" instead of merely well shaved, as with the NEW. Going to need to break out the Skin Bracer.

On a morning where it's -4C only a hopelessly-addicted menthol monkey like me could choose a set-up like this and I not only enjoyed every minute from it, I had a magnificent shave. The Super Speed/7 AM duo knocked off my stubble so easily and effortlessly, the Glacial Wintergreen soap lathered beautifully and froze my face off - not only that, its scent fills the bathroom while you lather up with it. The skincare from it is perfect. The matching witch hazel kicks the Rubby Dubby Doo in the butt in terms of menthol freezing and gives such a good post-shave feeling. Rod, my friend - yaish sabunak, tislam idak! (Rod, my friend - God bless your hands and long live your soaps!) ;) :D

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: WW2 Tech
    Blade: Treet Platinum (day 1)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Taylor Grapefruit
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: none

Back to a DE today. It was a good shave too. The Taylor Grapefruit did not have a noticeable scent this morning, but it did make up for it in its performance.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: Schick Adjustable Injector
    Blade: Personna (1)
Lather: WSP Rustic Shaving Soap Lavender
    Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Vintage Shulton Old Spice

Excellent shave. I did not like the Personna Injector blades in my Pal razor, but it worked very well in the Schick Adjustable. It's not quite as sharp as the Schick blade, but still gave a very smooth, close, comfortable shave. I'm BBS with no effort at all.

    Have a great day!

    Classic Shave
Amazing shave today. My HIS whipped the Tabac into optimal lather, as usual. My Aristocrat reported loudly as it smoothly reduced my stubble. Maggard's London Barbershop aftershave is destined to become a classic in its own right, with excellent skin care and a great scent. I finished with Tabac cologne before heading out to shovel some new snow.

    Prep: Proraso Green pre barba
    Soap: Tabac!
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Gillette Aristocrat
    Blade: Personna lab blue (1)
    AS: Maggard's London Barbershop
    EdC: Tabac!

today's shave went well. if any of y'all have any clues about this brush, please inform me. it made lather nicely, soft enough, that I'm sure it's badger. the 83 razor did very well. three passes and touch up, clean as ever. finished with iced Brut.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

Early morning shave mit der Böker. I have about a dozen razors I'm prepping to work into the morning rotation, but I fear once I do that, many of my old favs (such as this Böker) may suffer from neglect.
Maybe this is a clear sign that I have simply have too many…:D I still enjoyed this morning's efforts—a smooth 3-pass, finished with a refreshing splash of the Stirling.

    Have a great Thursday, everyone!

    • Prep: hot washing cloth
    • Brush: VieLong horse
    • Soap: Cella
    • Razor: Gillette Slim @7
    • Blade: Plosilver #2

Good close shave, but a bit too rough for my tastes. So I guess @7 is too much. Tomorrow I'll dial it back to 6 and the day after back to 5.

    Have a nice day, ya'll!
