FRIDAY An ultra-smooth three-pass shave using a fine forgotten soap—the Razorock XXX. Easy to lather & good performance. I need to work this product back into the regular rotation! Have a great Friday, all!
Friday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Mama Bear Awakenings SS Gillette Intense Cooling AS Balm Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Polo Original EdT I'm not really a that big a fan of glycerine-based soaps but there are some which I enjoy occasionally and this Awakenings is one of them. I find it a lot easier to lather well if I soak the puck in hot water for a couple of minutes and then start with a fairly wet brush. The scent is very strong, but pleasant - it's a mixture of menthol, peppermint, and perhaps tea tree oil. The menthol sensation is really strong - in fact it's about the same as Iced Subzero, and the skincare is fairly good. The Gillette Intense Cooling balm is very, very cooling and soothing with a hell of a nice scent and the Penguin gave me a great post-shave freeze. This morning I got BBS in two easy passes. Have a nice weekend, folks!

depends on storage, and how much I like the soap, and if it comes back out of the mug. sometimes they go into Ziploc bags, sometimes they get stuck in the mug. usually got three mugs loaded.
Fantastic Friday Shave Maggard's London Barbershop is some amazing soap and aftershave. The soap performs as well as any I've tried, with a refreshing scent. The aftershave is a match and just makes my face feel good. I'm not shopping today, so our main task is setting up the Christmas tree. Have a great day everyone. Frey's Day: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm Simpsons 56 Best Badger RazoRock Cumba Cheech Merkur 41c 1904 OC Asco Super Stainless (2) WTG, XTG, ATG (4, 5, 6) Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock Cumba Cheech AS balm Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d' Orange Folks, if any of you have any difficulties in getting a good lather, I strongly recommend you at least consider a RazoRock soap; the ones that I have basically produce lather whenever I look at them while holding a brush. Three passes - the third starting to hint at a bit of aging in the blade already - produced BBS results without any bloodshed. Apparently the shoveling and general out-and-about in the winter weather I've done the past couple of days dried out my skin some, as the Cumba Cheech balm absorbed readily, which is highly atypical for me. The scent of the Cumba Cheech really goes well with the Jasmin et Cigarette, as both are citrusy jasmine.
