I just got done with no shave November. I did maintain a crisp line on my facial hair and a clean shaven neck, so I did shave a little. I've never been a huge fan of my beard. But this year I got many compliments from girls, my mom included. So I reckon I'll keep it for a little bit more and see what trouble it gets me into.

Prorasso green is reliable, and the Omega was soft as ever. I really think the Floid Vigoroso goes best with the Prorasso green. I have the Prorasso green splash as well, but paired with the orange Floid, it is a manly smell. They jive. That's my two cents. Shave on gents, you all continue to inspire my shaves and my purchases.

I really like this brush. So I whipped up the Cella, and got to it, making sure to check the blade Alignment. Rainy today, but it was 80 here yesterday. WTG XTG on my face and neck on 5. ATG on my neck on 3. The Cella was nice and slick and with my FB on 3 for my neck I can buff a little on the hard to get to spots for a very nice smooth shave. Gotta love that vintage OS. Have a good one.

I know that there are those that enjoy a cold water shave, but I am not one of them. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to shave with cold water this morning. Of course, this was after my cold shower. Apparently, my teenage son thought that he was entitled to all of the hot water this morning and didn't leave any for me. We will have a long talk tonight! :angry019:

Otherwise, it was a very good shave.

    Have a great day!

    Menthol Mongoose Monday...

Nice cool feeling during my prep, 3 smooth passes with the goose, and a fresh finish with al fin. Feeling great, what a nice start for the week.

I'm on my 4th shave with the feather pro blade, and I can feel it shave much smoother than day 1. This is very Interesting to me, as it is still plenty sharp and could probably go 10+ shaves easy.

    Have a good one gents...

What did you think of Brain Freeze? I was a bit disappointed in the low menthol level.

    TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream
    Omega Pro 49 boar brush
    Schick Krona
    Feather Hi-Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

The TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush. Two passes with my Schick Krona and Feather SS blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... This is the second time I have used the Veg, and it was nice today. It was a better combination than yesterday with the TABAC.

I went to the dermatologist Monday and ended up with two biopsies from my right cheek leaving two stitches. I will have to shave around them for a week. I go back next Monday to remove the stitches and for additional work. Because of the two spots on my right cheek, I ended up with a substantial sideburn. I mirrored it on my left cheek. Less area to shave equals less time shaving. All's good.
