I'm looking to add a couple of new soaps to my rotation. My last 2 choices have been a disappointment on the lather but the scents were great (C&E). I like a variety of scents so that's not a issue. Thanks!
Why triple milled? Why not just the best lathering soap? If you limit it to that, I would say DR Harris Windsor is my favorite.
Just trying to even it out. I currently have more soft soaps and creams. Tabac and DR Harris is on the way P.s. I love L' Occitane Cade.
I have no idea if these are triple milled or not, but vintage Williams from the Cranford or Glastonbury plants are pretty much my best, followed closely by Arko, vintage Colgate and Palmolive Cup and Old Spice.
I have Arko I'm my rotation and enjoy it but the only Williams I have tried is the newer from the drug store and was not impressed. Vintage Williams is better?
I like the current version a lot and use it regularly, but yeah, the pre-Combe current formula is better.
If ZinZan is anything like me he only keeps 5 or 6 brushes on display at any given time so the wife doesn't know how many I actually have! Same with soap. Lol
Given the parameters, I would say that L'Occitane Cade is my favorite, with MWF & Tabac close behind. All do lather wonderfully, but the refreshing, clean fragrance of the Cade set it apart from both MWF (very subtle) and Tabac (oh, die schlechten geruch! Definitely not my favorite scent).
