  1. Amazing Shave
I took my time with Der Vorschlaghammer today and it rewarded me with one of the best shaves I've had - smooth and comfortable with no weepers or irritation. B&M Lavanille is my favorite scent of any soap I've used, and it rivals the performance of Tabac, and even surpasses the venerable classic in post shave feel. I finished with Gondolier cologne and I smell as good as my skin feels.

    Prep: Proraso Green pre barba
    Soap: B&M Lavanille
    Brush: HIS lather monster
    Razor: Der Vorschlaghammer
    Blade: Personna lab blue (1)
    AS: PAA Gondolier

    Traveling with Mastro Livi Grifone

On the road again. This time I brought with me my newest Mastro Livi Grifone and it will keep me company for this whole week. I am sure it will give me excellent shaves, like the one it gave me this morning. The more I use the "Grifetto steel", the more I like it. Smooth and comfortable shave, aggressive yet velvety, magnificent inox steel for a superb shave.

Unbelievably cold and smooth shave this morning - not quite BBS, but almost. Another few strokes would have achieved that. The Glacial Wintergreen comes from the most coldly and strongly mentholated family in production, and believe me - this soap can wreak havoc on anybody whose skin is sensitive to intense menthol. My brother-in-law once tried it and he wasn't able to even do an entire first pass because the menthol effect was making him feel like his face was on fire. For me, this soap is joy and rapture - that scent is delightful, it lathers so easily, rich, and slick, and the skincare makes my skin feel like it was born again. The Anherb conditioner together with the Rubby Dubby Doo felt wonderful. ;) :D

  12. Thats actually the reason I like it :) I like the slow build up of menthol, as opposed to the smack in the face I get from Frost Byte lol

Amazing shave this morning! I didn’t post a SOTD yesterday because it was super rushed and not very enjoyable. Consequently, the shave was not one of my best. I was redeemed this morning!

Very smooth, comfortable and effective shave this morning. Great Williams lather from the Plisson, I think this brush will lather anything well. The Personna 74 is so smooth that it was hard to tell there was a blade in the razor
  15. Is that the stealth that you recently ordered? Nice looking razor. Is that the aliminum or SS version? I want to get that handle in the SS satin finish, how do you like it?
