How many shaves on SE and DE

My question is mostly for those members who toss a stainless steel DE blade after 3-4 shaves. How many shaves do you get on a stainless steel SE blade? In theory, the same members should get 1.5 -2 shaves on a SE blade unless an average SE blade differs from an average DE blade drastically.

I can't answer the SE question as I've never tried them. But so far I am unable to get a third good shave from the DE blades I've tried so far.

I can get 5-8 really nice smooth shaves on a SE blade.

SE blades differ drastically. They are much thicker, and some are carbon steel, which corrodes easily.

I get 3-5 shaves from most DE blades, 1-2 shaves from carbon steel SE blades, and 7-10 shaves from PTFE coated stainless steel SE blades.

Yes, everybody is different. That difference also includes the individual perception of a "good shave". That's why I have addressed my question to those who toss a DE blade after 3-4 shaves.

I always get a minimum of 5 excellent shaves on my only blades, Super Iridiums, but could possibly go until 7. Unfortunately, I just could never get on with those SE blades since the razors are so wickedly cool! :(

I get way more shaves on my SE blades about 5 to 6 as compared to 3 to 4 from my DE blades.

    DE: 3-4
    SE (GEM SS Coated): 6-7

So, seems that, for me, I get about twice the amount of shaves out of the SS SE blades compared to most DE blades.
