Day 2 - Thirty Days with Merkur 34c (Jan 1-Feb 4 [No shave on Saturdays]) BSG 1-2-2015 Hot Shower and Prep - Nivea Men Sensitive Skin Face Wash & Wm. Neumann & Co. Peppermint Leaf Bar Soap Razor Merkur 34c Blade Astra SP (2) Brush - Plisson Synthetic Lather - Poraso Green Post - Warm & cool water rinse, WH & RazoRock "Problem Solver" AS splash 2 Pass and a few touch ups mostly on the neck for a DFS + shave. Apparently I had a bump on my chin that the blade had no problem finding this morning. Bled a bit but the styptic took care of it pretty quick. Over all good shave.
Thanks, Gary! It was taken at Wreck Beach, a famously international nude beach at the very west-end of Vancouver, near the University of British Columbia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wreck_Beach The Wreck Beach Society has there own website if you are interested in seeing better photos.
I can't tell you how many times I have dropped my shaving gear and broken my bowls. However, I have, yet, to lose anything to the abyss!
Thanks, Mark, but the graffiti artist did all the work on the wall of the bowl at the skateboard park. I simply took the photo!
Crazy Good shave..Feeling Fresh this Friday! Today proved that the ikon 102 is more than capable of completing all 3 passes on its own and still provide me with super smooth results. I took yesterday off on purpose so that I could break into this new custom scent soap as soon as it arrived today. This formula is a little thirsty, but it provides some of the best protective lather that I've used. Post shave feels great, and a couple touches of the Southern Oud was just the cherry on top. Country Club for Men aftershave has created something unique and I really like the staying power. Enjoy your weekend Gents!

I had a very pleasant shave today. Prep: hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash. Brush: Turkish #6 Brush. Razor: '62 Gillette Slim set on 6 for the first pass, 3 for the second. Blade: SuperMax Titanium. Cream: Egyptian Ingram. Post: cold water rinse, Fine American Blend, Myrsol Emulsion (I had some irritation on my throat area.) I haven't used my Slim in awhile. I only picked it up because the plating on my Krona seems to be wearing away and there is a lot of rust showing now. The blade I had in it was completely rusted, so I threw it out and got a new one. I will have to see if I can get that fixed. But anyway, the Gillette Slim is a great razor. It's very versatile and gives you 9 razors in one. As always, the Egyptian Ingram felt really cold and refreshing and so did the Fine American Blend and Myrsol Emulsion. I'd rate this shave a DFS.
