11 Jan 2015 Pre - Corn Huskers Soap - L' Occitane Cade Brush - L' Occitane Plisson Synthetic Razor - L3 Slim Adjustable (4) Blade - Personna 74* (2) AS - Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Absolutely a great shave. This is by far my current #1 set up and wish I could find a horde of Personna 74*'s to use every day.
Day 11 - BSG ATT S1 Kronos Rapira PL Plisson Cade Soap and Balm Two pass shave with touch ups. DFS. I tried to change from WTG/ATG to WTG/XTG. Did not like this as much. Way more touch ups and no real benefit. Lesson learned. On the plus side, my lather was great! Go Colts!
Sunday, January 11, 2015 Proraso Sensitive Preshave VDH Boar C. O. Bigelow + 4 drops glycerine Merkur 34C w/Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum (1) Cold splash, witch hazel, Lab Series balm, TSD AS Milk - Tabac W/X/A, touch up This is my standard set up, except the blade. This was my first shave with the SP. Noticeably better than the SS, which, until now, has been my favorite blade. Smoother, less irritation. I can't wait to try it in some other razors.
Hi @celestino i L-O-V-E it. I use it as much as i can. I apply a good amount of the butter on my face every morning before i go to work. It helps my dry skin through the day and gives a wonderful skin feel. On days where i use a "lighter" hydration for my face (98% pure Aloe Vera Gel), i use my Shea Butter as a "Night Cream". Applying a bit on my face before going to bed, helps to get the skin feeling great all night. My girlfriend told me, that my pores have changed and my skin looks better..."fresher". So, it seems to work well for me. I would give it a try. Even as an Aftershave-"Balm" it works wonders for my skin. If you are interested, where i bought it...here the link: http://www.iherb.com/Out-of-Africa-Shea-Butter-Raw-Wild-Crafted-Vanilla-8-oz-227-g/45324#p=1&oos=1&disc=0&lc=en-US&w=Shea Butter Vanilla&rc=2459&sr=null&ic=10 Greetings Thorsten
Sunday Morning Shave Pre: Shower Razor: Fat handle Tech Blade: Feather Brush: VDH Soap: Tabac Post: Old Spice This is the first time I mixed the Fat handle Tech with a Feather blade, and this was a great combo. It was actually an extremely mild shave! Turns out that I love face lathering Tabac, and the 'go to' aftershave for it seems to be Old Spice, perhaps so I can smell like an old man even more. Had about 4 days of growth and it was a great shave.
