okay folks, I just have to say that Douglass Smythe with HTGAM/PAA is a pretty stand up, generous, all around awesome guy. I sent him a message on Facebook on a whim asking if he could help me fulfill a small dream that I had: a birth year razor for my son, who was born in 2012.

Since razors (other than Above the Tie, and I didn't want to spend $100+ on a razor) aren't really dated anymore, I knew this would be pretty tough, but I asked anyway. And boy, did Douglass deliver!

He sold me a prototype of his Synergy-42 with the purple tip that was made in December of 2012!! It's one of 5 prototypes and one of 2 with the purple tip!! I'm STOKED!!
