I whipped up this one myself at home so she doesn't have the EO's that were used or the percentages.

    Tuesday's Shave

Pre: Hot shower w/ Grandpa's Pine Tar
    Music: Celtic Rock mix
    Lather: Arko
    Brush: Omega 13522
    Razor: '46 - '50 Heavy Gold Tech
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword Classic
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm, Tabac aftershave

Got a much better lather today but still a little weak. Might try bowl lathering tomorrow. Really focused on my technique today, went slow and focused on applying no pressure. Got a good close shave with minimal irritation, but still got a weeper around my chin, but the chin is one of the spots I struggle with. I think in the future I may need to cut the Tabac with some water or witch hazel, burned pretty good when I put it on. Bit strong too, not sure how I like it, will have to see what the wife thinks.

This shave was ok. I got some irritation on my throat and a weeper on my upper lip. I don't think my lather was where I needed it to be. The menthol in Gada Cool Mint and Stirling Lemon Chill witch hazel is very refreshing. And I've come to enjoy using my Slim once again.

    Love the Plisson.
It feels great and makes lathering easy.

I have a sample of Razorock Classic that Omar sent me a while ago. Today I tested it and had a nice shave with my tech which I haven't used in ages.

    Nivea Men's Face Wash
    ARKO Stick
    Wild Cherry PTS
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    FD Old Spice AS

The ARKO Stick face-lathered well with my Wild Cherry PTS Brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable and Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I hope that you will convince her to go with your formula on this one; it is spot on! The SC sample you gave me is dried out in the little tub now but, when I break off a little piece and hit is with a warm watered brush in the lather bowl of my scuttle, it explodes into creamy aeromatic lather that has great performance qualities. Well done Guy! :eatdrink047:

Liebe Grüße und einen erholsamen Abend!

Hey, just because the weather here in Montreal is very cold doesn't mean that I'm going to stay away from my menthol - in fact I'm going to have an even colder shave than I had today. That Neutrogena facial wash is awesome, the Palmolive Menthol cream is such an icy delicacy with great lather, a wonderful minty/traditional scent, and terrific skincare. For an extra chilly finish I'll slap on the Aqua Velva after I give my face a nice massage with the Gold Bond moisturizer. I'm going to really enjoy my shave in the morning! ;) :D

The Asco blades worked better in my Slim than the Big Ben blades and the Lord Platinum blades worked even better than the Asco blades. Using all three I found that the Lord blades are honed and stropped differently for each brand. Squire's blade examinations under the microscope on SMF also shows the difference physically as well.

Two passes N-S & S-N then just a few touches and experimented for with the angles on my neck - Disappointing shave. Face was OK the neck was not. Will do two passes tomorrow but with WTG and ATG.

Due to another thread from today, I played around with the Photo Lab app
