It is a medium rose scent that is quite nice. Not too sickening sweet like some rose scents. For a large tub (5.8 ozs) for about $15.00 bucks, it's a very good buy. The tub will last a long long time!

That DeLuxe head looks great. Replated? Nice combo with the Sabi handle.

And the performance is excellent

Thanks, it is just cleaned up brass that requires a clean and polish every so often.

The Col. Conk Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Wild Cherry Pur Tech Synthetic Brush. Two passes with my Schick E3 and Schick Platinum Plus Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave with a couple of weepers on my chin. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Barbasol after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wow! What an amazingly beautiful brush handle!

Evening Shave for Tomorrow
Cozy, smooth shave tonight with another splendid Wostenholm. This little round-tipped Pipe razor took a very nice edge and feels oh-so-smooth on the face.
Got back into using 'The Fat' recently (Thanks, @BigMark !), and with a bit of practice, some really slick lather was produced. I had forgotten what a light, pleasant scent MWF has! Overall, a very enjoyable shave to start the week!

That light, pleasant scent is what I love the most about the Fat. Everyone is always looking for complicated, heavy scents. That is fun, too. But there is a classic, understated elegance to a simple, high quality soap. When I'm looking for something special, the Fat is normally what I reach for. It is also a plus that it works well with any AS or Edt I can think of.

What's the dimensions on that HMW knot? 24mm?

They are polymer coated blades made in Israel (by I think they are made by Personna). They seem to work quite well in my Muhle R41, however I always had trouble with them in my other two razors (Rotbart and Gillette 1904).

Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog original face wash

Soap/cream- Martin de Candre fougere scent

Brush- Whipped dog 24 mm silvertip

Razor- Gillette Slim adjustable(5)

Blade- Astra superior platinum(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, Alum block, Pinaud Clubman aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive aftershave balm

My face feels WONDERFUL after this shave. 2 and a half passes =P 2 passes WTG and a few strokes XTG for some touch up.

My lather from MdC was perfect. I'm finding the water/soap ratio now =D

Pinaud Clubman gave a nice sting, it felt nice! The scent it nice too. I like it a lot.

My whipped dog is awesome. I have been missing out a lot by not owning a silvertip!

Nivea balm is always good!
