Schick J1 razor Personna blade CO Bigelow SC FS Finest brush OR/WH/S mix CO Bigelow 1585 cologne Haven't used the FS brush in over a year. Wonder why since this particular one is about as a good of brush as there is. Soft with just enough backbone to do the job. It will be used a lot more. BTW, great Friday shave

Frey's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave Balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Ginger's Garden Coffee Jasmine Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (3) Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (6, 7, 8) Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB Cologne: Oud Velvet Mood by Maison Francis Kurkdjian Beginning of the semester craziness/laziness had me going without shaving for a couple of days, so it was nice to get back to it with some of my favorite tools. The Coffee Jasmine smells great and provides great protection and skincare, though the age of the blade combined with the specific difficulties of ATG around the Adam's Apple for a couple of tiny weepers. The weather's been cold and dry enough that I felt I needed to moisturize after my BBS shave with the Aveeno, and it actually absorbed pretty well for me, compared to baseline. The cologne is very nice, if different from my typical choices, from a sample I picked up in Seattle, among the pile the shop owner handed me when I told her I wanted to explore oud scents without vanilla or patchouli.

1/23/2015 30 Day - Shave # 23 Prep - Hot Shower Razor - Mongoose Satin B2 Blade - Kai Mild (5) Brush - Rubberset 400 with WSP HMW Lather - Soap Commander Confidence Post - Witch Hazel and CC Bay Rum AS This is the 23 shave of my month spent learning to use the Mongoose Razor. I am still trying to end up with a near BBS 2 pass shave for work mornings. With today's 2 pass shave and touch up, I think I am getting really close to my goal. As usual the Soap Commander proved easy to use providing enough lather for a 4 or 5 pass shave. I must say, I'm getting a little tired of the scent after 23 straight days. Hope you have a great weekend.

Thank you, Clint and, of course, I don't mind you asking! It was made by a gentlemen in Germany who goes by the nickname, Nightdivers, I believe. However, they aren't inexpensive! He does excellent work, though!
