Not talking about a ballpark, or a "guesstimate." Have you ever counted up the number of blades you actually have on hand?

I did today and was surprised. It's not an exorbitant number, in my opinion. (And actually, there would be a good PIF idea... Have everyone take a guess, and closest to the actual number wins. But I'm not doing that today.)

So... After doing an inventory, I discovered I currently have 312 unopened blades in my shaving drawer. With a sampler of 5 more en route.

Anyone else? Just curious as to what the range will be

I counted. Got 63 blades on hand counting DE, SE and injector blades

147, most of those Astra SPs.

I stopped counting when it became ridiculous. I've given a substantial amount of the horde away.

What's the number where it becomes ridiculous?

I have a grab box coming my way now, and a passaround coming my way next month, so I may trade in some of my Astras for some that I haven't tried with my current razors (Fatboy and R41). I ran out of Feathers before I got those two razors, so I still need to try them. In my other razors, they seemed comparable to the Astras, but the Astras lasted longer.

I've never counted, it's well over a lot.

104 are Astra SP, 10 are Personna 74* and mix of various samplers packs...200 Ladas en route. I think I am good for a while roughly 3 1/2 years at minimum once Ladas arrive

Why?

Not enough. You should have 125 blades on hand for every year left that you expect to live. Just saying...

I have 299 blades. Mostly DE including about 25 injectors and SEs.
I have enough to last 4 years averaging 5 shaves each. But, I will go to 7 shaves a blade. So that would extend it to 5 1/2 years. So between 4 and 5 1/2 years worth of blades. I also have piffed blades and could piff blades again.

Ignorance is bliss. I know if I were to guess I would be on the low side. Geez, there's 200 at the post office waiting for me.

As a bit of rationalization, I include a tuck with every razor I sell on eBay so I like to keep them around.

My blades are a little bit everywhere. I have no patience to count them haha

1 1/2 years worth for 1 razor (my weber) about 3 months worth for each other razor, that would be about another years worth. OMG I'm gonna need more blades

167 and 19 that need honing every so often

I have about 750 I guess. There's no way I'm going to spend my time counting each one, they're kind of spread out.
