    Saturdays shave
Had a fever for the last two days. Felt terrible yesterday, but being the dedicated shaver I am, i still managed to fit in a shave. Even if it took me till 18.30 to do it. Decided to use the Ladas blade in a tech. Got a really lovely shave out of it.

    Razor - Gillette Tech
    Blade - Ladas
    Brush - L'occitane Plisson Synthetic
Lather - Martin De Candre fougere
    Aftershave Nivea sensitive

This is how out of it I was yesterday. I read a headline about Tom Brady deflating his balls. I thought that was so weird, until I realised they meant deflating the football's they use in the game, and not his actual, you know.... Not so feverish today.

Omelmad My printer email address is..........

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Bulldog Original face wash

Soap/cream- How to grow a mustache Lo Haiku shaving soap

    Brush- Plisson synthetic

    Razor- Gillette Slim adjustable(5)

    Blade- LADAS(2)

Post- Cold water rinse, Alum block, Pinaud Clubman Vanilla aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive aftershave balm

I have been having subpar results with the HTGAM soap and @RaZorBurn123 suggested I should try a different brush and see what happens. Sure enough, he was right. I got better results. Now I say better and not good or great, because I still feel like it needs to be a little slicker. I'm gonna keep working it and see what I can do =D I do love the scent and the density of the lather it provides!

My Plisson felt heavenly as usual, it's like stroking your face with a cloud of lather haha =)

The LADAS blade agrees with me pretty well, second shave on it. I usually toss my blades after the second shave but I'm gonna give this blade a third shot. After this shave it felt like it could handle one more shave.

Finished with Pinaud Clubman Vanilla. It felt great and the scent was really nice. Definitely a keeper!

Cinnamon, tabacco, vanilla, oh and did I mention cinnamon. Its really nice, I could see where a lot of gents would have issues with this soap due to irration.
I didn't notice any green tea. Maybe because the cinnamon over takes the soap.

That sounds great. Cinnamon smelling soap, not heard of that before. But have people been getting irritation from this soap?

I've read that some have reported they have. I also have another cinnamon soap, IanS Cinnamon Girl, and that soap smells fantastic! I paid $6 great performance. He has a warning on his site about cinnamon EO allergic reaction.

Mastro Livi Grifetto, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round Point

Yet another impeccable shave with Mastro Livi Grifetto. I absolutely love this straight razor, easy to use and giving a super smooth shave. I also love the scales of Grifetto, made from olive wood, directly recalling the lovely view you have here in Umbria, where hills are full of olive trees: definitely an Umbrian wood! This Mastro Livi Grifetto steel is velvety yet very effective, giving a deep and smooth shave, a straight razor I am certainly suggesting to everyone who wants to get into the wonderful world of wet shaving with a straight razor.

Very nice shave today with a Sputnik blade. I liked the Sputnik. It feels about as smooth as a Voskhod and is plenty sharp. Excellent 3 pass shave.

Another fantastic 3 pass shave this morning. I am pleased that I participated in this 30 day challenge. It has allowed me to have a baseline for this razor that will give me a basis for comparison as I test the other available blades.

today's shave went ok. I had started to prepare yesterday, honing and stropping, one of my twinworks twins. I had wanted to use the review soaps with a straight, just to be able to report from that perspective. I prepped for a nice Sunday go to meetin kinda countryboy shave.
sorry guys, halfway through my first pass my razor got real grabby and skippy. so much so, I gave up. I pulled the r41 out to clean up.
it did too, two passes later I'm very shaved. finished with Avon mesmerize. Will match that with the cologne when dressed.
church today, y'all come with me.

    Ladies and Gentleman, Friends,

i just finished my shave. It was fun today.

    -Preshave I: hot shower
    -Preshave II: Calani Beard-Oil
    -Soap: Mitchell´s Wool Fat
    -Brush: Semogue 620
    -Razor: Olyfa
    -Blade: Lada
    -Aftershave: not necessary

It was a very good shave. But i don´t think, that any other razor can shave so good as my Rotbart Mond Nr. 15. So today too. The razor shaved smooth and toroughly but when i compare this shave to my shaves with my Rotbart...no chance for the Olyfa. ;) But all in all it was a wonderful shave. The soap smells awesome, lathers like a champ and gives my skin a great feeling.

A special praise goes out to the Calani Beard-Oil. It can be used as a Preshave Oil. Man, what a catch!!! No Aftershave necessary because my skin felt absolutely wonderful. It´s a great mix of oils and has added "Squalane" which gives the skin a great silk touch.

I will fire up a pic later. At the moment i am with my girlfriend and don´t have a camera here.

Have great time, have a great shave and take care of you.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Smooth Sunday
Another excellent shave today. The brush is solid but not too heavy, so it's comfortable in my hand while I face lather. I'm still getting used to badger, but I prefer my synthetic at this point. Easy lather and excellent post shave feel.

    Prep: warm shower
    Soap: Tabac!
    Brush: Brothers Bristles prototype 1
    Razor: iKon SC101
    Blade: Personna lab blue
AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum
