Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds: load & go with the oscar11 brush. Superb, easy, thick, cushioning lather. Rapira Swede SS in the New Short Comb. Excellent, smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

Prep: Hot shower. Axe Shield Face Wash
    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: L'Occitane Plisson
    Lather: B&M Latha
    Post: Alum.Thayers Lavender WH.
    Aftershave: B&M Latha
Yup. You're reading that right. Went with my first DE razor today! After 35 shaves with the RRSS time to go back in time. The EJDE89 felt like a sledgehammer compared to the stealth, 3 pass DFS. B&M Latha is good stuff.
    Go out and get it!

Prep: face wash and Cornhusker's Lotion
    Lather: Klar Kabinett
    Brush: BodyShop synthetic
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: Voskhod (3)
    Post: Captain's Choice Cat O 9 Tails

Today's shave was amazing. 3 passes resulted in a little better than DFS. The inexpensive Bodyshop synthetic brush whipped up amazing lather and everything just worked. Outside of a little noise on the neck, I was not certain that I had a blade in the razor because it was absolutely so smooth. I hope all of your shaves are as good!

I had a delightful shave today. After 3 passes without issue I ended up with an excellent shave.

Update on my Saturday morning shave.

I was in a real hurry, got up late, took too long to drink my coffee, spent too much time kissing the wife, you know.

Anyway, I set the Slim on 8 and made a quick XTG pass. Then dropped it down to 5 and did an ATG pass. Then I finished up with a tiny bit of touchup on my chin. Imagine my surprise when I found that this quick shave was just as good as my 3 pass "take my time" pass. No noticeable difference. Guess I'm still learning.

David, although I wore a mustache for many years, I've been pretty much 'clean-shaven' (no mustache) for the past 7-8 years.
I've had the 'soul patch' for the past 6 years or so, but that requires minor upkeep. I started growing the 'stache last 'Movember,' and in the past 7 weeks have been 'training' it into a handlebar—which requires wax.
Considerably more maintenance is needed, but since I'm in competition with my son, it's worth the effort….;)
