02/07/15 February Focus on Blades Prep - Hot Shower Razor - Mongoose Satin B2 Blade – Feather Pro (7) Brush – Rubberset 400 with omega 49 boar knot Lather – Soap Commander Confidence Post - Witch Hazel and CC Bay Rum AS I love weekend shaves. Fantastic 3 pass BBS shave. This finishes the week with the Feather Pro Blade. This blade felt as if I could have easily went 10 or more shaves. I could easily see this as my go to blade in the Mongoose. It's very sharp and smooths out a good bit after 3 or so shaves. For my use, I would rate it slightly ahead of the Kai Mild blades. Next blade up in the test will be Kai Sharp blades.
Saturday, February 7, 2015 Whipped Dog Synthetic Stirling Frozen Tundra Merkur 34C w/Gillette 7 O'clock SP (3) Witch hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm, TSD AS Milk - Iced Subzero Mary Kay Domain Cologne Nice, chilly shave. BTW - If you're looking for an invigorating shower soap, try Paul Mitcells Tea Tree Bath Bar. It is chilly, and the peppermint is a wonderful scent.
It has happened twice out of the 5 blades I have tried. But before that I might have just put them on the good side in the razor right away =P I'm gonna open up a new 5 pack and check them out.

February 7 (day 7) MR GLO Feather Artist Club razor Feather Professional blade (day 1) Two-band silvertip Art of Shaving Sandalwood cream Two pass plus touch-ups except for cheeks Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Pinaud Clubman My February goal is a close and comfortable two- or three-pass shave with this set up. Today's shave was very good. I took my time and paid extra attention to stretching my skin. The MR GLO pre-shave soap leaves the skin nice and slick for the shave. The new blade is very unforgiving. I hope it will smooth out over the next couple of shaves. I know what to do, but I simply cannot hurry or greedily chase a BBS. After this month, I may save this razor for my weekend shaves - or maybe give it to my brother-in-law . A lot of guys skip their shaves on the weekend, but I really look forward to them! I hope everyone has a restful weekend.

I don't know about sitting strangely in the slim. That's what I use and haven't noticed anything like what you describe.

I have the two, and definitely gonna try it. But what does cade add to the mix? Except for awesome lather
Barbasol Floating Head Razor Gillette Silver Blue Semogue BC Mistura Institut Karite Soap Alum Tet-a-Tet ASB Most of my shaves are pretty good, but when I slow down and take my time, sometimes I get lucky with an exceptional shave. Today that was the case. The only unfortunate part of today is that my tube of Tet-a-Tet ASB is done.
That's exactly what Cade adds to the mix - awesome lather. I find the lather produced by TOBS to be less than I want. Cade adds the slickness and cushioning that changes the TOBS Rose from good to great.
