More Aggressive Vintage Razor

    I do agree that only you can decided what the next step up should be for you. Based off of what you have, I would start with another of the SS razors or the EJ89. Then move onto the SC and LC. For me I have found the Slim to be one of the harder razors to use. Seems to work well for a lot of people but not me. It's about experimentation and you will have to be the judge of what you like or don't like.

    Your next RAD....anyone you want! :happy088: Have you looked at the Auto Strop? Very affordable and if you really look you can find them in whole kits. ;)

    WARNING! That thread is some serious RAD bait! It pushed me WAY into sharper waters... ain't made it back to shore yet... haven't even seen signs of shore, really...

    Another thing to consider, some folks say that different blades can make the same razor milder or more aggressive.
    So even the blade/razor combo comes into play causing YMMV.

    TRUTH!
    Last month I used a GEM Clog Pruf exclusively. The popular Gem PTFE coated blade felt like I was shaving with Satan's red hot pitchfork. The Gem Blue Star turned that Glog Pruf into an efficient, smooth, beard mowing magic wand.
