No not really. I really dont know why I bought it except for "just cause I could". I really dont have any plans to use it but I guess that could change some time.
I live in sweden. Vintage razors are pretty hard to come by. I was gifted a slim from a member on the forum, and when I learned how to use it all my other razors took a looong break hahaha. I get just great shaves with it, and I love the weight. Next I'm hoping I can find a fatboy cheap
"Thanks" to Mr @ChiefShaver I got notice about an aftershave lotion that seems to be right up my alley - no alcohol, natural ingredients and a supposedly wonderful moisturing effect and scent. As luck would have it there happened to be 5 bottles of it on eBay of the rather elusive lotion so I grabbed one right away for $13 w/ free shipping. Someone grabbed another two.
Now I'm just waiting for someone to read all the online reviews about this lotion and how people apparently are willing to trade in their first born for a bottle of this stuff - and buy the remaining two bottles lol
That would be interesting to know, how many people would trade their first born child just for this wonderful stuff!!!
Maybe fow a few people out there this would be worth thinking about it... But i don´t hope so, that people would do things like that.
By researching TSD threads I compiled a list of artisan tallow soap brands that were mentioned the most frequently in "top x lists" or "favorites." Then, I did a little more research to find brands with good value when it came to price+shipping per ounce. I went with Stirling. They were in the top 3 of both popularity and value per ounce (even when adding the cost of a tin). But what put them over the top was the $5 flat rate shipping. I ordered Barbershop and Margaritas in the Arctic.
I'm also waiting on this rather rare Peroni razor. I like that it takes modern DE blades and that you can set the angle of the head anyway you want - well, and that it just looks cool
won my first Fat Boy on the 'bay today! can't wait for it to arrive. Also still waiting on one order or blades from WCS and also from the shop here at the shave den. That one has been processing for close to 10 days so hopefully that one will ship out here pretty soon as well! can't wait.
I got this off the bay for five bucks. If it cleans up nice great if not it's 5 bucks. Also got a tin of crsw bergamot and bay coming and caties bubbles boucles frUit
