Face still kinda irritated. Maybe I don't like the store brand Israelis after all. Or maybe I forgot my technique.

I did plenty of outside shaving in Vietnam. I prefer inside shaving nowadays. I just checked, 16 degrees. Too cold for an outside shave.

Fantastic 3 pass shave.
Wednesday 18th February Warm shower Hot towel B&M Bay Rum scuttle lathered Finest Badger brush made by myself Gillette NEW Deluxe (15mm head) Sputnik (1) Cold rinse Thayers Superhazel DR Harris Bay Rum aftershave A grand shave from the NEW it did the job well with the Sputnik. This Deluxe Red & Black set came with the '15mm' head, and the fancy large Tuckaway style handle. I had it re plated in Gold last year. The B&M Bay Rum is a top tier soap, the DR Harris Bay Rum aftershave pairs well with it, drying down very quickly.
I pulled out the Le Pere Lucien (LPL) today after using MDC for the last few shaves. I have come to the conclusion that LPL is a little slicker than MDC but MDC has a little more cushion. Beautiful 3 pass shave this morning. LPL Rapira Stainless Slim Adjustable

Fear and Fougere I am an anti-dentite. I've had some bad experiences when I was a kid. I am going to the dentist today because I need a cleaning, and I think I have a cavity. I still get nervous for these visits. I went with B&M Fougere Imperiale today so I can get a better evaluation of it. It lathers as well as the vegan formula, though it did seem to dry out a little - easily remedied with a bit of water. The scent is nice, not bold, but pleasant. Der Vorschlaghammer efficiently and humanely executed my stubble, leaving smooth skin. Kyovu finished up with a little sting from the witch hazel, but also comforting glycerin.
