Effortless Excellence
I didn't plan on using Tabac today, but I caught a whiff through the cracked lid and changed my mind. My reward was a superb shave. Tabac lathers so easily into creamy greatness, which my Aristocrat used to comfortably destroy my stubble. I finished with Kyovu bay rum. I feel and smell great!

And the polar freeze continues! Another record setting morning in SW Michigan. Actual air temp was -4 Fahrenheit. With wind chill was more like -22. Now they are saying it may drop even more, with MORE snow tomorrow. I just don’t have the words to express my rage at this weather! LOL...

Yesterday's shave was the closest shave I have had. Even 12 hours later there was no detectable stubble but it the shave came with a price. While I had no irritation, my face did feel abused by the aggressive Feather Super blade. Given yesterday's results, I just did a quick 2 pass shave with no touch ups at all ending up with a very close shave. Still a little stubble on the chin when I rub my hand against the grain but otherwise a near BBS shave.

WOWSA,the Glacial Obsidian was especially freezing today,the cold water shave just accents the frost! All in all a great shave BBS face and dome!

The Yeti Snot is a cold soap! Not as cold as Stirling Glacial soaps, but colder than any of my other menthol soaps. The cold water wash is intensified when rinsing. Everything just worked together and the shave was excellent.​

Well my first time using MdC. What can be said that has not been said before. With only one use I find it hard to say it is head and shoulders the #1 soap in my den ...but it is. It's like you open the lid and lather jumps on brush. Super protection and never trying a Forgere before didn't know what to expect but to me smelled great. No pre-shave oil, bumped up aggression on razor and zero feedback from alum block. Finishing with the VEG was brillant if I do say so myself. BBS everywhere but 1 tiny spot back of jaw on left side. So after all the hype and the costs associated, for me, worth every penny and will always have a jar in the den.

A cold shave on a 12 degree morning. The MITA whipped up nicely with the #6. The Fatboy and the Torrey did a great job. The Osage Rub brought the arctic chill and the Akthar Noir will have me smelling good all day. All things considered it was an almost BBS shave this morning.

3 passes and all is well. The little synthetic brush did an outstanding job building a warm lather in my G-12 scuttle and each pass was slick and shiny. Maybe I'll get this figured out eventually. Of course, the KK soap is dead easy to lather and always delivers a fantastic protective layer of lightly scented goodness.
