    Post: cool rinse and Ogallala Bay Rum

    It took me 9 shaves to get back into the groove with the New SC. 2 passes, both N to S, and I am near BBS. I love this razor!

    Another dandy shave from the Gem stainless blade. Reckon I have to admit that they work well for me now and expand my blade choices. That's a good thing.

    Aftershave: Fine American Blend

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Rustic Shaving Soap Mahogany today. 20 seconds to load the WD High Mountain. Great, easy, thick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the NEW SC. Nice smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine American Blend.

    Great 3 pass work morning shave. Soap Commander as usual provided a great lather with more than enough cushion and slickness. Nearing the end of this giant tub of soap.

    Thanks Celestino. I can't connect to our other forum to let you know I had some difficulty getting out of the house to send those P74 s to you but they are hitting the mail today. Sorry for the delay but you'll forget all about that once you start using them. Some people have a rocky start with them but if you do, try to push thru two or three uses and everything should smooth out and you'll be ridin' the wind of the legend my friend and becoming another member of our secret order.

    Prep: Hot Shower, plain Dove soap as face wash
    Pre Shave: Homemade Preshave Oil with Peppermint infused
    Soap: Van Der Hagen
    Brush: Omega Boar
    Razor: Merkur 38hd Barber Pole
    Blade: Astra SP
    Post Shave: Gentleman Jon Alum block, Witchhazel with peppermint infused, Nivea Cooling Post Shave Balm, Proraso Pre/Post

    Thoughts: This was a great shave with the second time using the Merkur Barber Pole, I simply can't say enough good things about it. It performs just as it should and makes for a great shave at the end. I'm a big fan of Van Der Hagen and it never disappoints, on an up note you know with soaps like that you can have an amazing shave on the cheap. Hope everyone has a great day!

    P.s. Football season may be over but had to showcase my Mizzou towel! MIZ-ZOU!
