The return of bitterly-cold weather will never deter me from using my heavy-duty menthol goodies. The Neutrogena facial wash will get the ball rolling, the Frost_byte soap can just about give you frostbite because it feels so cold, and the Gold Bond moisturizer adds to that frigid fun. Once I get the Penguin slapped on, I'll be shivering practically the whole day. I'm looking forward to another wonderful shave! ;) :D

    Tabacstag!
Tabac is so consistently excellent that it's almost boring.
Another superb shave with Tabac and Der Vorschlaghammer. Krampert's Bay Rum finished nicely and left my face feeling great.

George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Peerless, 11/16 Full Hollow, Round Point

George Wostenholm & Sons is just another fine Sheffield brand I have always loved. Their IXL razors are absolutely nice and very keen. Smooth and sharp, this old razor is still capable of providing a superb shave. I also like Italian almond shaving soaps and this Saponeria Artigiana has an absolutely charming smell, however being a very good soap. Aqua Velva, a classic in shaving, is an aftershave bringing very good old memories to my mind and, despite its fragrance may be considered as vintage, I love it!
    • Pre-Shave: Myrsol Emulsión
    • Soap: Saponeria Artigiana Almond
    • Brush: Focus 103 Bristle
    • Bowl: Old Barber Bowl
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
    • Razor: George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Peerless, 11/16 Full Hollow, Round Point
    • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
    • After Shave: Aqua Velva Loción

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Los Angeles Shaving Soap-Woody Lavender-A "Top 5"
    Razor: Gillette Slim
    Blade: Viking’s Sword Personna (1)
Brush: Plisson #12 Lucite Grey Badger-22mmx56mm
    Aftershave: Country Club Modern Fougere

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. I loaded a new Viking’s Sword in the Slim. Nice smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Modern Fougere.

    Thursday's Shave

    Prep: Hot shower
    Soap: Arko
    Brush: Omega 13522
Razor: '46-'50 Gillette Heavy Gold Tech
    Blade: store brand Israeli Personna
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Pinaud Clubman

Quick 2 pass shave today. I think I've decided I'm not a fan of these blades in the Tech. Or at least the Astra SP are better enough that these aren't great in comparison.
