  2. SUNDAY
    Early Morning Shave
Predawn hour, all is quiet except for some peaceful music playing from my phone; hot cup of fresh-brewed coffee on the counter—and my shaving gear. Relaxing 3-pass shave with the Hersko, complimented by a cool blast of menthol. Great way to start a beautiful day.
Have a blessed Sunday, all! March has arrived!

I am fortunate enough to have loan of an Above the Tie S1 and S2 for the next couple of weeks. So I jumped right in today with the S1 loaded with a Persona Lab Blue blade. This razor head is exceptional in build quality. Everything just fits together so well. I will be using these two heads with the smaller of my Mongoose handles which is about the same size as the largest ATT handle. Fantastic 3 pass shave which would have been BBS but for a small area above my lips. This is always a problem area for me when using a razor I am not familiar with using.

Couldn't wait to try out the Schick Krona that came in the mail yesterday. No Surprises, nice close irritation free two pass shave. Also getting to like the Pre de Provence shave soap.

  13. Nice! It has great performance characteristics and the scent is very mild almond (I think it's almond). This was a sample from Guy and I'm not sure this Solstice SS is available yet. (I hope Guy will jump in here and add some more information as he has more knowledge about this SS.) A little of it goes a long way; a slim shaving off of the block burst into a nice rich lather.

Post - RazoRock Alum and The Veg

What a great shave today. Wow. First time using the New LC and it is a fine fine razor. Putting the Treat "black beauty" with it made for a great shave. The auditory and tactile feedback was incredible. The carbon blade definitely makes some noise as it goes about its business.

Three passes, very near BBS, no nicks, cuts, weepers and the alum let me know that it was a man's shave. Yeah it burned some but it felt so good!! Finished with the Mighty Veg and sat down to view my kingdom. Happy March everyone!

I don't use the boar brush very often, but it is an Old Spice, and I use everything I have. So I whipped up the Barber Shop, nice scent, in my favorite Old Spice mug. The brush has lots of backbone and is not as easy to paint my face as my badgers. WTG XTG on my face an neck on 5 ATG on my neck on 3. Quick close shave today an out the door. Have a good one.

  18. I have very sensitive skin on my neck, and a sparse beard. The is no combination of prep, software, hardware, technique, and post care that doesn't leave my neck raw and stubbly.
