A mid afternoon shave today, as it is my day off and I have the house to myself..... Pre-shave wash with Clinique face soap for men, followed by Anthony Logistics pre shave oil. Proraso Green (my first time using it. Very nice!!!) My Gillette New Tech. Vulfix shave brush. 3 passes with a Feather blade. Finished with some Clinique Post Shave balm and Proraso AS. Have a great day!!
Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech NDC (declared 1947) Birth Year Brush: Erskine Badger 1947 Birth Year Mug: Old Spice (early glass Mug 01) 1947 first glass mug Birth Year Cream: Cella Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, TOBS Luxury AS The Gillette Tech is a nice mild razor for me even with a Feather blade. The Erskine brush whipped up a thick warm lather in the OS Mug as it was sitting on a wash cloth, for padding, in the sink that was filled with hot water. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm and some TOBS. Have a good one y'al. (That's Texan)
That Sterling looks like oatmeal. I can never get past the way Sterling "soaps" look or the residue that it leaves on everything. Nice slant!
My pic last week was upside down now yours is sideways. Mine looked different depending on how I viewed the site. I had to delete mine and add it back. Strange, or did you do this on purpose!
Today's the first day of my week using the Swedish Swing "1935 CC" razor. I thought it was apt to use a Rapira, Swedish Steel blade in it. More details about the shave here Razor: Swedish Swing "1935 CC" Blade: Rapira Soap: Klar Kabinett Brush: L'Occitane Plisson A/S: Lucky Tiger All in all a very nice shave!
Thanks Obi! Have they stopped making the Weber Polished Head razors? (I haven't heard.) At any rate, I will be holding on to this one as it's a great shaver and one of my favorite razors.

Tuesday's shaving plans: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/SuperMax Blue day 2 Stirling Glacial Lavender SS Anherb AS Conditioner Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Fahrenheit EdT Guys, I'll tell you what - if you let me have a nice shave tomorrow with my Glacial Lavender soap I promise that on Wednesday I'll use something different which won't be any of the other Glacials which I have. It's just that I can't resist the awesome scent that this soap gives me every time as well as the rich, easy-to-build lather and that arctic-like menthol blast which makes me feel so good. Also guys, please let me use some Anherb conditioner because it cools and soothes my skin every time, and gives it such a well-moisturized sensation. I'll also need a splash or two of the Penguin to finish off the freeze, so will you please, please, pretty please allow me to? Thanks!
Prep : Cold water Razor : Rolls Razor Blade : Rolls Razor Brush : VDH Soap : VDH Post : Old Spice This shave was not the closest but then I did only strop it so back to the Hone!
It is an interesting idea, and you have a great set-up, but for me it would just be too much work to get a pretty good shave. I have a Rolls, and I could never get a good shave. I couldn't get the blade sharp enough. It makes a great display though.
