Thayers Lavender WH. Aftershave: Captains Choice Cat O' Nine Tails First time using RR Tobacco #1, like all RR soaps very easy to lather, I really like the scent. I'll use #2 tomorrow. The new stackable jars are fantastic! Go out and get it
Tuesday's Shave Prep: Hot shower Lather: Arko Brush: Omega 13522 Razor: '46-'50 Gillette Heavy Gold Tech Blade: store brand Israeli Personna Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm Scent: Pinaud Clubman Quick 2 pass shave today.
I did. Im waiting to see if #2 was stronger, I actually like a milder scent. From what I've read everyone like #2 better. As far as long lasting, CCCONT is pretty strong stuff, so I don't smell the soap now.
Well, I woke up late today, so I rushed the process, took some time off of my shave by using some of my TOBS eton college cream instead of TSD soap. Just a single pass WTG and out the door. That TOBS sure makes good lather in a hurry! Going to try TSD cream when my samples run out, maybe I will have the same results.
wacker salter indian sandalwood homemade badger, box elder burl and Ace 2 band knot. Apologies to many here. I've had a run of bad luck. Camera broke, lathe broke, computer went down and I dislocated my index finger on my right hand. I have everything running again except my band saw and my finger is still in a hurt bag but getting better. I'll be in touch with everyone I need to in the next couple of days. Sorry for the inconvience this caused.

Schick I2 razor Personna blade Dr Selby Luxury SC FS Silver Tip brush Osage Rub/Witch Hazel/Sage mix M&L Florida Water Cologne Lovely shave on this terribly foggy morning. Gotta love the Florida Water bite when applied. My grandkids always comment that is smell like cinnamon, go figure
Today's shave did not proceed as planned. I have been using my slim adjustable for so long that I simply forgot that you need a slightly different technique when using a Gillette New Long Comb. 4 weepers after 2 passes and some noticeable irritation tells me my technique stunk today. I am sure I will get the technique down soon, as pain is a very effective motivational tool. Uncented MDC w/ TOBS Almond Ladas blade Gillette New long Comb

There is a big difference between knowing how to shave with one razor and knowing how to shave with ALL razors.
SOTD Tuesday, 3/3 Razor - Merkur 41c "1904" open comb Blade - Gillette 7 o'clock green Brush - Semogue 1320 Soap - Maggard Limes & Bergamot Starting to get the hang of this razor. Shave #3 and each one better than the last. I've figured out two things. First, the gap for the correct angle on this razor is minute. If you miss it, nothing is happening. Second, there is next to no audible feedback making it tough to tell what's happening. That being said, today's shave was very, very smooth and very close. Took a few touch-ups after 3 passes, but fewer than the first two shaves. No sting from the AS. I guess I'm still learning. So when are you NOT considered a "noob"? LOL
