I had a fairly bad experience with Johnnie Walker when I was an undergrad, and have never really looked at whiskey or scotch since. But the other day I decided to give it another try and bought some Talisker 10 year old. Not bad at all, really. Quite enjoyable, in fact. James.

I've been grazing the bottom shelf for the past year or so and keep coming back to Glenfiddich 12. I recently got a bottle of William Grant's blended and was impressed at the quality for the price.
