Has anyone used RAPIRA PLATINUM LUX blades? I am very pleased.

    I have only been shaving with a safety razor for a couple months now . I have tried some different blades . My fav up till this point was FEATHER . They were a little harsh but worked pretty good. After reading a couple people saying they like the RAPIRA blade i figured i would give it a try. i like this blade a lot more than the FEATHER . Seems to be just as sharp , but smoother than the FEATHER. Not as harsh . I can only get 2 shaves out of a blade , but only got 2 out of the feather. Well that is my
    2 cents . Hope that helps somebody .

    Rapira Platinum Lux are great blades! Smooth & sharp. I like them very much

    Rapira Platinum Lux - definitely a great blade. One of Rapira's best. I still prefer the Voskhod though.

    I have used them and got a great BBS Shave from them. Some one here on the forum sent me several of them when I first joined. I would not turn them down.
    I prefer Wilkinson Sword SS/DE. I got a lot of them,

    Rapira Platinum Lux (flux capacitor lol) blades are in my top blades. I've found them smooth and reasonably sharp.

    Glad to see this. I have a 120 blade sampler coming from directly from Russia that has every blade mentioned here in it.

    Plan is to (hopefully) pick a favorite and order a few hundred.

    Used one just this morning two passes with the grain and had a really close shave.

    I really like the Platinum Lux as well. These were the first, and so far only, blades I have ordered in bulk. I still need to try the Swedish SS, but the PL works great for now.

    I have a bunch of the Platinum Lux, but I haven't tried them yet. I think I will tomorrow though.

    Platinum lux are my go to blade. Nacet stainless are also very nice.

    I tried this blade this morning in my Weishi 9306. Seems like a good blade. Will try it again in my Merkur 34c next.
