Hi Moz,yes it is,it's similar to the rest of the A*Men flankers but with a blood orange, tangerine scent.I like it,it lasts a pretty long time on me,I'm thinking this would be a good spring maybe summer scent.
Prep : Cold water Razor : Valet Auto Strop Blade : Valet Brush : VDH Soap : VDH Post : Old Spice I cut myself... I haven't done that in a long, long time. There go's my safety record. Really it was a slice, as I was getting close to my adams apple and thought - better move that razor back a little...the interesting part...the blood didn't run. I think the cold water helped. It is right at a 1/4 inch long.
March Focus - Vintage and Carbon March 9, 2015 - Week 2 Day 2 Prep - Hot shower and towel Brush - Omega Pro 48 Soap - Arko Razor - '46 Gillette Aristocrat Blade - Post - RazoRock Alum and Clubman Day two of the Dura Sharp was another good shave, but I'm wondering if it will go 4 shaves like the Black Beauty. Seems a little less efficient on day two, so day three will be critical. Of course, with the time change and lack of sleep over the weekend I may be the one dragging, not the blade. We'll see tomorrow. Overall, though, another DFS on three passes and I'm finding the carbon blades to be performing well, at least through the first two. The difference between the New LC last week and the Aristocrat this week is interesting to note as well. Quite mild the past two days. But quite comfortable. I have 300 Russian blades waiting for me at the post office to be picked up in the morning. All the way from the motherland!

The Osage Rub is fantastic stuff other than the initial horse liniment smell.
Thanks everyone for the "get well wishes" and a big thumbs up to the member that posted the recipe for the Hot Toddy, works like a charm. And speaking of that, just finished one and the lights are about ready to go out. Dave
You face lather so may want to try soaking the puck. I bowl lather but when I used this soap, I would soak my brush while showering then when ready to lather I would shake it twice so brush was still pretty damp and I didn't have any problems working up a lather. If you can find Alcolado Glacial AS, give that I try.

Tabacstag! Tabac never fails. I am really liking the combination of Tabac soap and cream. The lather set up my stubble and my New LC very comfortably, leaving my face smooth and happy all around. Monday: The daylight savings time hit and I was running behind. The weather finally broke and temps in the 40's. So to celebrate, I will participated by joining in the Menthol Monday: Prep: Fast and furious face scrub with hot hot water and glycerine soap. Cream: CO Bigelo Brush: Semogue 1438 boar Razor: RazoRock Mission Blade: Astra (2nd use) AS: Alcolado Glacial Because I was running late; after prep, I applied small amount of cream directly to my face and went to face lathering with a warm damp brush. easily had enough lather for three passes. Half asleep and moving quickly I had three passes completed lickety-split. Ended up with a DFS. Applied the AG and the alcohol burn hit and within minutes the menthol hit the numbing/freezing effect. Out the door and to work. A great way to start the work week!
