Fridays shave I had a really nice shave with this setup. I'm finding that my Pils and stealth slant are becoming my favourite razors and Sputnik blades work well with both. Razor - Stealth Slant V.3 Blade - Sputnik Lather - I Coloniali Brush - L'occitane Plisson Synthetic Aftershave - Trumpers Lime Skin food
Frey's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Ginger's Garden Grass Stain Menthol Snow Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (3) Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (6, 7, 8) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS splash Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron Not QUITE as good a shave today as yesterday; the angle seemed a bit more fiddly and illusive than normal this AM. The lather compensated this to a degree, as I had a genuine Santa beard going on for the third pass, after squeezing the excess lather from my lather-hog Simpson. I got DFS results that produced a couple of hot spots with the application of alum, but no blood from my handiwork.
SOTD: Friday, March 13 Soap: Mystic Water Barbershop Brush: Simpson 3 "Chubby" Manchurian Razor: Feather AS-D2 Blade: Personna Med Prep (3) Aftershave: Floïd Blue Third shave in a row with the MW product. Lather is less than satisfactory. I have watched several lather demos on YouTube and have copied the various techniques, but CANNOT achieve the desired lather. BUT I am not giving up. (Celestino ) Tomorrow's another shave. Have a great day!

A little on the fingertip is all that is needed to apply a thin layer which will slowly absorb into your skin. It does tighten the pores and the skin will appear shiny before it is entirely absorbed. One thing to keep in mind is that you mustn't over-apply; very little is needed to soothe freshly-shaven skin. Has a nice light aroma and I expect this little 50ml jar to last at least one year.
Now I really love that brush! I want one that color. It reminds me of the diet Mt. Dew bottle I always have in my hand. The razor scales are fantastic also. Do you pour that stock or purchase it, PM me please!
Ahoy, Matey! The Captain is taking the "Black Pearl" for a sail today as I channel Captain Jack Sparrow, still reminiscing my sailings and diving adventures. Razor: Gillette 85 Super Adjustable "Black Beauty” (p2) 1970 named “The Black Pearl” Brush: Jerusalem Olive Wood/WD Silvertip 24/48 Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: TOBS Grapefruit cream Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1983 Porcelain Sail Boat I set sail for two weeks on a sail dive trip, back in time, and dove in the Bermuda Triangle. Actually saw some strange bioluminescence creatures on a night dive. We had a well respected marine biologist with us, and he had no clue! Blimey! Setting sail with the Pearl as I whipped up the TOBS in my favorite mug and off we go, bucko. The Pearl gives a nice shave, and I'm just addicted to the Gillette Adjustables. WTG XTG on my face an neck on 5 ATG on my neck on 3. After a splash of WH, and some Jack Black (a good friend of the Captain) balm. Shiver me timbers, that was a nice shave. The Admerial (my bride) and I can't wait for our next sail, so avast me matey, weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen! Yo Ho Ho!
