That's a great event! I see they are doing something like that also here in the Bay Area. :happy088:

Got a great shave with the Sonnal slant today. Half way through shaving I realized each edge is different, with one side more aggressive than the other. Im finding my face becoming sensitive to TOBS creams though. My face is irritated high up on my cheekbones above where I shave.

Just a face shave today. My brother and I are going to an upscale barbershop to get head shaves together this afternoon.

They all smell better in glass containers. I do not know what the plastic does to the scent.

This Haslinger does a weird thing where my skin feels dry and taut while shaving but when I rinse it off it does a 180 into smooth, moistuirised feel on my skin. Never happened before.
Pitralon so nice, woodsy, herby, dry scent for the spring/summer and the skin goes to powdery heaven when it dries off.
Russian blade test is ongoing and Rapira SS is sharp but just a bit too rough for my taste.

03/14 – A very quick shave with great results. 1 pass WTG followed by XTG everywhere but neck. DFS/BBS with no irritation, weepers, or alum burn. The Senator is pretty efficient.

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Tabac
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    GEM MMBT
    GEM Super Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva

For the third week of Single Edge Month I will be using my birth era razor (1947), the Micromatic Bullet Tip.

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger Brush. Two passes with my GEM MMBT SE razor and a GEM Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
