Planned shave for Friday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Sharp day 5 Stirling Glacial Lavender SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Aramis EdT Hey, if you guys want to know about menthol - then come see me and I'll teach you. The Neutrogena facial wash is how you prepare your skin so it gets the first coating of ice. Then, you lather up with the Glacial Lavender soap and by the time you put your brush down, your face will feel almost like it's coming off. After you finish, massage your face with some Gold Bond moisturizer for some extra chilliness, then slap on some Alcolado Glacial and you'll freeze your tush off. That's how it's done! Wishing everyone a nice weekend in advance!
Friday's Dove Men Face Wash C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip GEM MMBT GEM Super Stainless CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva This is week three of GEM/ER SE Month. GEM MMBT is up to bat and doing a great job. The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silver Tip Brush. Two passes with my GEM MMBT SE razor and a GEM Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
It is a mild razor. After spending a week with the ER 24 it is like shaving heaven. I get close smooth shaves with no irritation. It is a fine razor indeed. I will use the ER 14 on March 24 and then finish the month with the GEM G-Bar.
Thanks...I think. Going with a Rapira tomorrow. Maybe only 1 easy pass, my face still is sore and it's after 9pm! Sheesh... I used to have a poster that said "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!"

Bigelow Razor - '46-'50 Gillette Tech Blade - (3) Post - RazoRock Alum & Aqua Velva Ice Blue Day three on the Voskhod and smooth sailing all the way. No doubt about my love of this blade. Since using it in my 30 day rule in January I haven't had a bad shave with it, except for my Russian Roulette shave featuring the Rapira razor, or razor-like device. That razor could make any blade deadly. Great way to start the day and when I got home tonight I found my recently won PIF waiting in the mailbox. A good day all around!

Arko face lathers MUCH better than it bowl lathers! However, like the MWF yesterday, the Arko provided no "lift" to my whiskers, and very little protection for my skin.

What an enjoyable shave I had. The Glacial Lavender soap isn't my favourite for nothing. That scent is so lovely and in spite of the menthol being so strong, the lavender is still very much there. The face-freezing part begins immediately and becomes more powerful as the shave goes on. The Sharp blade still seems to be holding up, so I'll keep using it.
