I'm really beginning to love this AS. Great cooling effect from the Menthol, not too lingering fragrance if a bit medicinal from Eucalyptus and it leaves my skin in great shape. At $8 for a large bottle this has to be one of the best daily use AS out there.

I don't use it daily, but I do like it.

I used it for a while until my sons began asking if I was wearing Absorbine Junior on my face...:ashamed001:

Osage Rub aka the Rubby Dubby Doo is a top-favourite of mine.

It's a great splash for hot weather.

I like it too. It's quite chilly and the bottle lasts forever. I used it daily before I discovered the A/S balm I currently use, which I actually think is colder than the Osage Rub

    I like it too.
I even use it as a hair tonic occasionally.

Are there different brands of Osage Rub ? Or is it a brand in itself ?

I like to splash a bit on a wet towel and clean my face with it during a hot day. Florida Water is great for this too.

I mix it, 50/50 with witch hazel and use it daily. Makes my face feel great!

It is its own thing. It's made by Pinaud or the company that makes Pinaud, I forget. It's a big bottle of menthol, not a lot of scent. People used to use it as a muscle rub back in the days before BenGay and Icy Hot.

As Mr. Shaverman said, it's a Clubman aftershave and hair tonic as stated on the bottle but unlike most Clubman products it has a quickly dissipating scent. The Eucalyptus in it gives it a sort of medicinal scent, similar to some muscle ache rubs and it's heavy in menthol which makes it a pretty good AS for those who like the icy cold feeling. I'm sure it's an acquired taste that wouldn't appeal to everyone, typical of most aftershaves.

Made by Jeris and you can get it from lots of online retailers

How's it compare with Alcolado Glacial? I would expect OR, Being Pinaud related would be less expensive (dirt cheap).

It's close. Both are extremely cold, but I think perhaps Osage is a touch colder.

I use Osage daily. It is my pre-aftershave. I use a quick splash to remove the soap film from my face before I use my actual aftershave. And then a balm... yes, you read right. I have a daily three stage aftershave process.

Yes, that's what I thought. It's Jerris, not Clubman. I had a sample from shoebox shave. Great stuff.

The label says Clubman and Jerris, Jerris is listed as a product line on http://www.clubman.com/. I believe Pinaud and Jerris are owned by the same cover corporation.
