WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard). I will wipe face off with Ice Cold Wet Wash Cloth. I will be shaving with Cold Water. Hopefully it will result in another DFS-BBS, with "No Nicks or Weepers".

I ended up BBS but it took more effort today. One more shave with this Sharp blade and in the garbage it goes. The Palmolive Menthol cream felt heavenly - what a nice freezing sensation it gave me.

The Maca Root whipped up thick lather, I really like this cream. Great cushion and no preshave needed. The toggle set on 5 as I dropped in a new Feather, checked the alignment and was good to go for my first pass WTG. So far so good, very close on this pass. A little rinse to see how we are doing and relather for a XTG pass on my face and ATG on 3 for my neck. Some more lather for touch up on my neck and we are done. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some Jack Black AS gel, then some Tuscany and all is good. Another DFS for my toggle. The extra weight and the great balance of the toggle make it very easy to just let the razor do the work, and enjoy the ride. I love this razor! Great way to ride into Spring! Oh my! My new antler boar whipped up MITA like a dream. So well, I decided to shave my head. (Had a cut from last head shave) Something happens when you don't use a razor for a very long time and pick it up again, it's like finding a long lost friend. Thanks Phil! You did an amazing job on my brush! K

MLB Saturday
I went with MLB today because the scent reminds me of Saturday at the barbershop with my dad. I used a bit more water this time and the lather was even better than usual. Very thick and slick. The Beast buttered up my whiskers, leaving them awake but unsuspecting of their fate. Der Vorschlaghammer ended them humanely and efficiently. MLB aftershave perfectly matches the scent and leaves my skin smooth and moisturized.

Switched blades again. The Astra gave me a nice comfortable shave, I'm calling it DFS. Face is happy again! Happy tax season!

 

Celebrating! Market was in triple witching yesterday and cleaned up nicely. And finished my taxes.

CC Habana today. 20 seconds to load the ER Silvertip. Great, easy, thick, lather. Gillette Spoiler still in the NEW SC. Nice smooth, close, shave. I finished Stirling Executive Man.

today's shave was nice. 1805 makes such nice lather and smells very nice. the shovelhead always finds its grove quickly, except up around my nose. takes a bit of maneuvering, but we'll with it. three passes and I'm set. finished with pinaud musk.

MdC nuff said! But I might have shaved a little to close on a place or two, around the chin and 1 side of mustache area.

Ladas doesn't agree with me anymore. I blame the blade! The bevel is inconsistent...

 

I really like that Gillette! Is it a mild razor like a Tech?

 

The NEW SC is more aggressive, but gives the best shave of any of my razors.

Duke 3 Manchurian ---- First use,definately seems more densely packed than the Best Badger version,softer tips way more backbone,no scritch.I only did a quick hand lather yesterday with some Conk Amber and I could tell this was going to be a very special brush.I got a nice lather from what I feel to be a so-so soap,also the brush was pretty much funk free out of the box.Today I used MdC and got a great face lather,sorry I can't post pic's but SWMBO is also She Who Breaks Cameras .In a month or so I think I'll be buying a Nikkon D5300 and keeping it in a safe deposit vault!!! Thank God she leaves my shaving gear and musical instruments alone!
