Monday, March 23, 2015 WD Synthetic Stirling Frozen Tundra EJDE89 w/Gillette 7 O'clock SP (5) Cold rinse, witch hazel, Cortisone 10, 444, TSD AS Milk - Iced Subzero It's spring, but it's 21 degrees here in Wilkes Barre. Maybe one of you who dabbles in such things could make me a custom soap called NEPA Spring - freezing cold, and scented like an oil heater.

Mama mia, shaving with the Glacial Obsidian soap is enough to freeze your face to smithereens. By the time I finished my first pass I thought I was going to go numb. The second pass was making my eyes tear and my nose run like a water tap. (I love that sensation!)
Menthol Monday Der Vorschlaghammer easily vanquished two days growth with the help of Krampert's Frostbite, whipped up by the Beast. I used Proraso Green pre Barba today for an extra cool, but I think I like Proraso White better.

Can’t believe its almost Easter already. Wasn’t it just Christmas? At least the weather has been decent for the last couple of weeks. They say we MAY get a couple of snow flurries but nothing that will stick. Sour grapes from Winter lol... Keep in touch at That Shave Life!
Only used Obsidian once and couldn't see to finish my shave. Cold is not the word! But a menthol "pro" like you should just take it in stride!
Monday: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Soap: Ginger's Garden Grass Stain Menthol Snow Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (1) Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (1, 2, 3) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock One-X AS balm Cologne: Xeryus by Givenchy For whatever reason, my lather today was a considerable improvement over the past two days' lather, with more consistent, yogurt-like texture. Combine that with a fresh, new Bic blade, and the results speak for themselves. I got anxtremely comfortable shave that - if it doesn't technically qualify as BBS - is as close to BBS as I think I can achieve without an ATG pass. I love the Xeryus to finish it off, and wish they hadn't reformulated.

Yesterday I realized that I now have 7 soaps in my normal rotation. The week has 7 days. So, I am planning on using a different soap everyday, which means I will work through my rotation in a week. Of course, now that I have written it down, it is sure to change. L'Occitane Cade Rapira Platinum Lux Slim adjustable 3 pass and a very nice shave.
