This is the same handle, but I have put a knot on each end. It feels good either way, but I am interested in your input. I still need to smooth it more, but I am getting to the point where I need to put the hole in it.

I would say choice B. Seems to balance out the knot and should feel nice in the palm of your hand.

    B definitely.
It looks like it will fit the hand naturally.

Where (at what point of the handle) do you naturally hold most of your brushes? That is where the point of indenture of the handle should be.

    Ergonomics.

B This way you will not beat the handle up on your mug while lathering

A to me it look's like it gives the better, more ergo grip....also seem like a better lather builder, so I went A....but of course I based that on nothing, except maybe my eyes?....think you cant go wrong either way

edit: B looks like it would fit in a holder better if that is a concern

Both look great and I see your dilemma. I prefer A by a hair.

I'm not going to be much help here but my question would be, how thin will the wood be in style B? What is the potential for cracking?

For this reason alone, I would go with A. Otherwise they both have their merits and look great either way.

SWMBO likes A. They both have a pretty good feel in the hand. I don't bowl lather, so that is not an issue. I had intended for the brush to be like B, but since it feels natural either way I wanted your input. I guess I should go ahead and order a knot for it.
I will do some more sanding before making my decision.

In my view of the universe "A" seems to be more appealing to the eye. "B" doesn't...just.... Pick A.
