    Indeed! I was born in Van Buren. My folks have retired in Addison, about an hour north of Bar Harbor up Rt. 1. We go up every year. Those coastal shots are making me home sick! Love 'em!!

    Charlie, You are right! :happy088: Maine is very beautiful. Spent time there some summers, late 60's. Portland, Higgin's Beach, Old Orchard Beach :cool:.
    We will be visiting Vermont in mid Sept, Woodstock. VT also pretty nice!

    Just a reminder of the rules of the thread as we go into multiple pages.

    1. The pictures must be ones that you have taken, or someone close to you personally has taken. In other words don't get random photos from the web.

    2. Please keep the images to 1,024K at the longest length if possible so that we can see them easier. I know it sometimes needs to be slightly larger at times depending upon the device.

    3. Keep them clean since this is in the general section of the forum.

    4. A few words on the photo to provide some extra context is always welcome.
