    Thursday's Shave

Prep: Hot shower w/ Grandpa's Pine Tar
    Lather: Proraso Green cream
    Brush: Omega 13522
Razor: '46-'50 Gillette Heavy Gold Tech
    Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Tommy Bahama Very Cool

VERY early morning shave today as I had to be on post by 0230. Rushed as I was, I can't make any sort of judgement on the Rapira SS yet. The Proraso was a nice option. Menthol kick to wake me up without having to take the time to lather a soap. Decent, fast 2 pass shave and out the door I went.

    Plisson Synthetic
    Palmolive Cream
    Gillette Milord (NDC) w/Voskhod (2)
Cold water rinse, alum, witch hazel, Pacific Shaving Co. Caffeinated AS Lotion

I love the light scent and the cold feel of the Palmolive Cream. Is there any way to determine in what time frame my Milord was made?

Seems like a nice product, as with the other Body Shop balms it has great moisturizers in it.

The Frost_byte soap is well-named because it really does freeze holy hell out of you. Its lather is so easy to work up and the post-shave care is good as well. My shave was excellent today.

What are your thoughts on the CC North AS? I see youve been using it steady this week. Initial sniffs from the bottle got poor reviews from the wife, I hoping it smells better on, like most AS does. Wife claimed it smelled like cheap gin...

    Prep: Warm Water
    Razor: Muhle R106
Blade: Feather New Hi Stainless (second use)
    Brush: Omega 10066
    Shaving Cream: Cella
Post: Nivea Balm for Sensitive Skin
    Aftershave: Tarr (local brand)

This one did not went too well. Feather blade got way too dull after the first pass. Second pass was painful, did not continued with the third one. First shave with that blade, yesterday, went great. Today was bad. Got two nicks, no visible razor burn, but few spots i feel they are irritated.

    3/26/2015 Thrifty Thursday!
    Prep:
Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Black Tip Super Speed, The "Hornet" straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (5)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: Col Conk - Amber
After: Home made ASB, Nivea for men after shave balm
Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense

It is Thrifty Thursday and I went to a soap brand that I started out with. The Vie Long brush whipped up the Amber into a really good lather. The Black Tip and the "Hornet" did their jobs with distinction. The Nivea ASB brought some moisturizing and the Prada will have me smelling great all day. All in all it was a Darn Fine Shave.

    Have a blessed day!
