Well it finally arrived a mint almost NOS Dubl Duck Goldedge it says 6/8 but it's actually a full 13/16, there was a small issue with the seller from the States and I really don't know what I would have done without the help from Steve from the SRP AKA engine46, Steve really went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out a real standup guy and sorted out the problem and that's something that must be said and not forgotten thank you Steve I howe you big time a true Gent.

Beautiful, Jamie! What a real jewel!:love055:
Now I can actually see what the gold and blue-painted tang on a Goldedge looked like (alas, on mine, it is long gone!).
    Lovely razor! Enjoy!
Do let me know if you grow tired of it! ;)

My jaw hurts every time I see one of Jamies razors. He has some real nice blades and I can testify to his ability to hone one also. Jamie is a special guy but I like Oscar ( his dog ) better lol. I would probably trade all my razors for Oscar

I enjoy my DD Goldedge immensely; good steel that takes a great edge, comfy shavers—and not too hard on the eyes, either! :D;)

I had a very rusted up one, spent two hours buffing and removing the rust until a chunk of the razor broke off! It was the first time I've ever cried!
She's a beaut though! Nice catch!

one oftens sees the DDs on eBay in that advanced rusted blade state, indicative of once-beautiful scales beginning to rot. Unforunately there's little one can do to slow or stop the process.

Was one of my first restore's, learned a lot from that one on what to look for and what to admit is a lost cause
