What should I shave with next week? II [Poll] - CLOSED

Thanks all for helping me last week - in a fun way - to decide what razor I should use for a week.
The Gillette Black Beauty was a great razor and I enjoyed the week with it.

BUT, a new week is coming up and I am reaching out to my trusted, fellow wetshavers to guide me to the razor to use next week.

I've never used any of these razors.

Options are, and see pictures below;

1) Personna DE
2) Leresche #51
3) Muller Esku slant
4) German Meehan OC
5) Pomco slant
6) Gillette ABC

Votes can be cast until around noon tomorrow, Sunday when I'll clean up the razor of choice for it's first use on Monday.

The Leresche has my vote.

 

German Meehan OC. Looks to me like it may be able to bring a similar amount of blood as the CJB which you so generously wished upon me. Not that I would enjoy seeing that. No, not me, ever.

 

Looks like the Leresche #51 takes an early, comfortable lead. We shall see where it ends at tomorrow noonish.

This coming week I'll be shaving with the highly acclaimed Leresche #51

I'm almost a bit 'intimidated' by it due to how extremely highly rated this razor is....but we shall see starting tomorrow morning

What a great problem to have man I love them all. But if I had to pick I'd go with #2. No #3 oh heck! This is stressful

 

I know - as far as problems goes this is not too bad a one to have.
The week after this I have earmarked for a very special razor - still to be reveled

 

Really you have a superior collection and anyone that comes up will be one I am interested in seeing your pics and reviews .

I bought a Leresche some months ago and had to return it. It was so mild I couldn't get it to cut. Don't know if was defective in some way. It certainly wasn't what I had heard about. Hope your experience is a good one.

 

Leresche made a number of versions over the years. Do you know what model yours way?
And where can one buy a Leresche from these days that will allow you to return it if it doesn't shave as you like?

 

Ha! I don't recall the model number, but I bought it off a BST. I remember that there was absolutely no blade gap at all, which I thought was odd.

 

I was mostly curious if it was a #51 as in my photo as I've heard it can be rather aggressive.
Well I have no personal experience yet - but am hoping to have quite of bit of that by the end of this coming week. We shall see.

 

That's why I bought my Leresche....because I wanted the aggressive shave so it may well have been the 51 as it rings a bell now that I think about it. I'm looking forward to your report.

 

Do you know if it was an OC model?
I hear that the safety bar Lereches are rather mild - having said that I'd pay a nice chunk of money for a good looking #77 sigh......if only...

If I have a true Holy Grail of razors left...it would be the Leresche #77
