Today - Sette Belot 7 made in Solingen for the Italian market. It has a 6/8 blade sort of plain but as nos as they come with three pin scales. Very well made razor soap - martin de candre lavender AS - Le pere Lucien
My Dad and his brother were both in the "Crotch" just prior to and during WWII and neither came home with one (straight razor). I still shave once a year with the razor he was issued (Gillette DE) with on Pearl Harbor Day. Both my Dad and his brother were there when it was bombed. I need to pick one up. I'd love to have one.
"pearlex" Dovo 5/8 full hollow. no training wheels today. three passes, straight only. not the best shave, but not the worst, I'd pass muster.
Kenwa Japanese kamisori grind one sided shaver - got a bbs shave today. Honed by Glen because I just could not get it dialed in. It makes an interesting shave when you have to try to get by with only one side. ( I do cheat and use the other side but very little) Le pere Lucien soap - one of the best out there AS - LaToja splash
Interesting! So, do you switch hands when shaving and how does this work if one only uses a single side of the blade? (I'm trying to envision holding the razor in my left hand, shaving with one side of the blade, then switching to my right hand and......)
I do use two hands when shaving with any SR so that is not a problem for me. I am right handed and cant throw a ball across the street with my left, it is useless but when I pick up a razor it works fine
revisor 6/8 - nice shaver, the tail is a little short for me I deal with it soap - Razorock son Of Zeus Brush - frank shaving 30 mm pure badger as - Floid vigoroso
