the 7am delivers a really great job for me they work once and I toss them out I dont mind that, they dont compare $$ wise with M3 so I dont care.

No shave today - regeneration day. Just a dab of Shea butter and TOBS Eton Cologne.

Yesterdays shave was very close (but also a tad rough) so stubble ain't no issue. I'm still one of the cleanest shaven guys in the building :D

    >Pre de Provence Shave Soap with Shea Butter (150G tin)
What a wonderful soap--my first "triple milled" experience! VERY easy to lather, plenty of soap in the brush for all 4 passes, didn't go flat or dry up on my face. Nice cushion, pretty slick; I will need to work on getting the perfect amount of water for face-lathering to deliver maximum performance.

    >Omega Syntex Brush #90075
A very useful (and user-friendly) brush! At it's "bargain price" ($10.00), this is well worth a try. No, it won't replace my Badger or Boar brushes, but good for soaps OR creams and very quick-drying so it's ideal for travel!

    >Gillette "NEW" with "Purple" vintage blade (San Francisco, CA 1945 on box)
This was used for the first (WTG) pass only, as I had a several-day growth to mow through. I have been in self-imposed "lockdown" for this time, finishing and editing a book (now at the Publisher) relating to the work we do at our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center/home!

    >Gillette FatBoy Adjustable (1961-G3) with Dorco ST300 blade (#3)
It was used this time with a setting of "3" for two XTG passes followed by one ATG pass. What a delightful shaver, smooth and close with no irritation whatsoever. My other FatBoy (1959), which won't hold its adjustment any more, is hereby retired!

    >Alum Block Probably marketed as a deodorant stone (I've had it forever!), but very effective when used according to Leisureguy's instructions...thank you, sir!

    >T.N. Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel as an aftershave splash. Not exotic or nicely scented, but effective while being inexpensive and widely available.

    >Aveda Replenishing Body Moisturizer, used as an after-shave balm. Nice, light herbal/floral scent, completely absorbed. My "better half," Peggy, had this around for quite awhile after having won some of their products in a talent contest at the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Conference...singing a song she wrote, a cappella!

All-in-all, a truly enjoyable, very comfortable, and very close shave! I LOVE shaving at night before sleeping, when the situation allows.
